TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

General
Acceptance of these terms is signified and implied by the customer ordering the goods in writing or by phone, fax, internet and e-mail. These terms relate to Artwork, furniture, furnishings, lighting, Accessories collections contained on Victoria Jones Limited intellectual property as well as goods crafted as part of Victoria Jones bespoke service.

Prices/Payments
All prices are quoted inclusive of VAT.
All delivery cost will be billed separately on the same goods invoice.
All Victoria Jones quotations are issued E & OE and are valid for 30 days. Freight quotes may vary from initial quote.
Please confirm all pricing before ordering. Victoria Jones Ltd reserves the right to change pricing without prior notice.

All orders require a 50% deposit to action an order; the balance is due prior to delivery. Overdue accounts will be suspended until brought up to date. All legal costs incurred collecting overdue payments will be charged on to the customer.

Cancellation
Deposits are non-refundable on cancelled orders. Any cancellations must be requested in writing within 7 days from placement of the initial order. Any orders placed on terms cancelled after delivery has been made will incur a 20% handling fee. Delivery charges will not be credited.

Returns
All damages must be reported within 48hrs of receipt of goods by the customer. Returns can not be accepted after this time. Outward and return carriage will not be credited.

Liability
All goods are supplied by Victoria Jones on the condition that our liability for any fault or defect in the quality, condition, and suitability for any purpose is limited to an amount not exceeding the original purchase price of the particular goods ordered.

Specifications
The Company reserves the right to improve, alter or modify the design or sizes without prior notification. If goods are supplied to the Buyer’s own specifications, the Buyer shall be solely responsible for ensuring that they are accurate. All measurements for repeats and widths are approximate. Due to the nature of our products exact pattern matches can not be guaranteed.
Due to the fact that all our items are product of natural substance no two items will be exactly alike and what may some times appear a fault is in fact a result of the purity of our products.

Dimensions
All furniture dimensions are approximate

Ordering/Lead times
Each order will be issued a “Sales Order (SOP) as confirmation together with a copy of your credit card receipt and/or a note made of your deposit/payment. Upon placing an order all purchasers shall be advised of an estimated lead time. This estimation shall be in no form biding upon Victoria Jones Ltd and shall at no point be a condition of any contractual obligation with the purchaser. Stock cannot be reserved for a client unless a 50% deposit has been placed against the item.

Cancellation
When it is the customer(s) wish:
(1) The deposit (50% of the total purchase) is not refundable.
(2) An administration fee of £20 is chargeable.
This does not affect your statutory rights.

Storage
If for any reason the Buyer is unable to accept delivery of the goods at the time when the goods are ready. The seller shall be under no obligation to store the same. The Seller may however, at its discretion and if storage facilities permit, store the goods at the buyers risk and the Buyer’s shall be liable to the Seller for reasonable cost (including insurance) of it so doing. Please note that the Seller is not responsible for purchased items left on the premises over 60 days, and reserves the right to dispose of Goods not collected and paid for after this period. No refund will be considered. The Buyer will be notified in writing.

Deposit
Unless otherwise stated a minimum deposit of 50% is usually required. This is not refundable on cancellation by the buyer.

Right of ownership
All goods remain the property of Victoria Jones until full and final payment is made. Upon full and final payment legal title of items shall pass to the purchaser.
